About Us

Since September 1, 2008 Bonita Boarding Kennel and Pet Camp is operating under new ownership. We are a family-owned and operated business. Co-owners Lisa Bromley & George and Debi Braendle, together with their dedicated staff are proud to provide high quality pet services for your pets.

Lisa Bromley is a Certified Pet Care Technician. Lisa has been involved with animals for many years & has worked with rescue organizations. After receiving her degree as a Medical Assistant and working for a local cardiac group she followed her dream to work alongside animals.

George Braendle is a retired corporate executive. Before his retirement, he was President and CEO of Essex Specialty Products Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company. Since then he has helped several start up businesses with structuring, planning and merger and acquisition strategies. In the nineties George's hobby was to breed, raise and train Morgan horses on his horse farm in Michigan. Now his focus is on supporting the BBK family business and to his great enjoyment working with animals again.

Debi Braendle is a retired executive of the Dow Chemical Company.  At Dow she was responsible for several administrative departments including Human Resources, Purchasing, and Facility Management to name a few.  In 1998 she and George retired and moved to Florida.  Although you will see Debi in the office at times, she mostly handles the administrative and financial aspects of the business.  When the opportunity arose to purchase BBK, she and George jumped at the chance to create a family owned and operated business with her daughter and son-in-law.

Cheryl Harrison has been working at Bonita Boarding Kennel since mid 2009. Previously she was involved with greyhounds for over 40 years, and has worked in vet hospitals, kennels, and wildlife rehabilitation centers. She has a passion for all dogs, especially ones that are "misunderstood." She enjoys taking time out of her life to enrich the lives of those furry friends around her. Cheryl is very compassionate, and loves all who come to BBK like family.

We are all proud supporters of the Humane Society of the United States and local rescue organizations!
